Established in 2001, after a wide search Karl Johner purchased 27.826 hectares on the banks of the Ruamahanga River, planted Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and smaller parcels of Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
